Dr. Irene Byrd, a former Design Essentials product knowledge educator for McBride Research Laboratory, a Master Licensed Stylist, Licensed Cosmetology Instructor, owner of Salon Honey. and Product Line owner: I Bee Honey Hair Care.

Irene has been a professional since 2002 and has a sincere passion for the beauty industry, education, and public relations. She specializes in all types of hair with all textures including: relaxed. natural, color enhanced, and/or transitioning as well. She worked as a cosmetology instructor at Delta Technical College and currently reside as a member of Hinds Community College Advisory Committee. Striving daily to inspire cosmetology students as well as educate them of the benefits of their career choice with an emphasis on the importance of healthy living and beauty advancement opportunities.
